Last weekend I went to a place that has a very particular aesthetic, it is not pretty, it is not really ugly,  The Wapping Project is a place that translates one to a confusing but interesting unknown place, an old  hydraulic power station out of work that it is transformed to a playful place, a place to fantasy while you are having a delicious food… it is a bizarre relationship, I’ve had to admit that I felt strange, I didn’t know how to behave, it was a little intimidating, I had a thought than at any moment the machines will start to work and make a huge noise and I will be scared; but quickly I was  relax,  the old chains, the huge green pipes and in general the cold space are connected to the present through minimalistic furniture, great French soft music and candles everywhere that make me felt safe, happy and excited, the odd relationship creates the sensation of a futuristic place, something that is not quite today, it is a connection with the past or with the future or both…it is an experience…
